- Compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger has been improved. The program now more properly uses new gnutar 1.14 which comes with Tiger system.
- Selective restore option has been added. Beginning from this version there are two options to separate restore selected files instead of all files included into backup.

- Backing up of bundles to incremental backups has been corrected.

- Support for entire system volume backup (including hidden unix files/folders like: /bin, /sbin, /private, /usr, etc.) is added.
- The procedure of backup info files writing is improved to avoid the corruptions in case when unexpected quitting, system reload or power off are occurred.

- Now available as a universal binary version which runs natively on Intel-based Macs as well as on PowerPCs.
- Corrected displaying of the files modification date-time in the backup content table.
- Fixed a problem with reading data from tar archives for the files whose owner or group name contained numbers (e.g. 1111, user25 and so on).
- Added better compatibility with Tiger (10.4.x) systems.
- Discontinued the support for system 10.2.8. Now the program requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later.

- Dramatically reduced cache size for CD/DVD backups. Now when backing up a large amount of data to a set of CDs or DVDs, the amount of free hard drive space required by the program equals to the size of one CD or DVD, respectively. Previous versions required as much free space as the total size of the data to be backed up.
- More detailed logging for CD/DVD backups. Now the log for CD/DVD backups displays additional messages, allowing the user to monitor the backup process with more detail.
- Burning failure message box. A message box is now displayed if the burn to CDs or DVDs was unsuccessful. In the previous versions of the program this notification appeared in the log only.
- Added ability to re-burn to another media immediately if the burn to CD or DVD was unsuccessful.
- Improved handling of filenames with service symbols. Fixed problems with handling filenames with symbols '[', '\', '*' and '?'.
