General global settings of the program are user accessible through the Preferences dialog. This dialog can be called by choosing the menu item Preferences in menu Dobry Backuper.
There are following elements in the dialog:
- Logs detail level - a set of radio buttons for setting log message detail level; where Brief - the lowest, Detail - the medium, Full - the fullest detail level;
- Save backup info using - a set of radio buttons for setting the save format of backup information files: Binary format or XML format ;
- Enable schedule - defines permission of using schedule for automation of backup building; make check in the box to enable the schedule, otherwise, uncheck it;
- Use Agent - defines permission of using the agent-program DobryBackuperAgent for tracking the schedule; make check in the box to enable the agent, otherwise, uncheck it;
- Collect logs on hard disk - defines permission of saving all the log-messages in a file on the hard drive; make check in the box to enable saving, otherwise, uncheck it;
- Clear logs folder - the button, by pressing which, you remove all the log-files created by the previous work sessions of the program;
- Reveal in Finder - the button, by pressing which, you open Finder window and jump to the folder with all the log-files.
To save the changed settings press OK . To cancel the changes press Cancel . You can refer to this Help anytime by pressing the help button ' ? '.
